Denise Betsema has been a fixture at the top of world cyclocross for years. The De Ceuster – Bouwpunt rider is known as a sand specialist. As an islander (from Texel), she knows better than anyone how to put power down on heavy surfaces. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her trademark is the explosive start; from the whistle, she puts immense torque through the pedals. These peak forces require a drivetrain that is extremely stiff and durable. Moreover, sand is the enemy of bike parts.
